I have been playing the harp for 13 years and recently finished a Masters in Music degree at Indiana University South Bend for harp performance where I studied with Suzann Davids. My musical training started with the piano at age 4 which I continued with until I graduated from high school. When I was 7 years old I decided to take up the harp as a second instrument. Although I only studied the harp for a short time when I was young, my love for the instrument never went away and I took it up again in the last year of high school. In addition to my training at home, I spent multiple summers in Camden, ME, for in-depth study of the harp with Alice Chalifoux, former principal harpist of the Cleveland Symphony. I have also attended master classes with Yolanda Kondonassis and Lorelei Barton.

After getting my first Bachelors degree in Zoology from Andrews University in Michigan, I attended Azusa Pacific University in California where I studied with JoAnn Ford and received my Bachelors in Music for harp performance in 2001. While at Azusa, I participated in many ensembles including the University Choir and Orchestra which toured annually and released multiple CD recordings.
