I am a versatile musician with over 20 years experience playing the harp at almost any type of function. I can provide harp music on either pedal or celtic harp in a variety of styles to suit the needs of your special occasion. It is my goal to provide you with quality music presented in a professional manner with personal attention to make sure your event is a success.

Ms. Caldicott has been a very active freelance harpist for over 20 years, bringing elegant music to hundreds of special occasions in a tasteful, professional manner.

Ms. Caldicott's background is as a conservatory-trained harpist, with a history as follows:

Former Principal Harpist with the Albany Symphony Orchestra, Ms. Caldicott appeared as a soloist with various orchestras in upstate New York, performing concertos by Handel, Mozart, Debussy and Caplet. She has toured in Europe with the New York Harp Ensemble and in the U.S. with flutist Jan Vinci in their duo, Iridescence.

Ms. Caldicott has performed as Principal Harpist with the North Carolina Symphony, the Glimmerglass Opera Festival, and several regional orchestras, including the Schenectady, Catskill, Utica, Berkshire, Binghamton, Erie, Wheeling, and Akron Symphony Orchestras.

Now residing in Saratoga Springs, NY, Ms. Caldicott has resumed her position as Principal Harpist with several of the regional orchestras in upstate NY, while actively performing as both a soloist and a chamber musician throughout the area.

In 2002, Ms. Caldicott and violinist Elizabeth Silver premiered Albany composer Ray Bono’s “Trafficking with Ghosts,” and then premiered its flute and harp version in 2003. In April 2004, IridescencePLUS will premiere their newest commission by Mr. Bono: “Walter’s Wife,” for flute, harp and marimba.

Ms. Caldicott has also served as Personnel Manager for the Albany Symphony Orchestra and has taught elementary strings in public schools. She is currently harp instructor at Hartwick College and The College of Saint Rose, and also teaches privately in the Capital Region.
