Biography: |
|
Playing the harp in the Chicago area is both my
specialty and my passion. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
With a Master
of Music from the Chicago College of Performing Arts and
a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University, my
musical pedigree is thoroughly Chicagoan. In fact, so
are my accomplishments: I've been an active part of
Chicago's music scene for nearly a decade, and
during that time I've performed with ensembles
ranging from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the
Chicago Lyric Opera to the backup band for mariachi king
Vicente Fernandez in front of a screaming crowd of
20,000 at the Allstate Arena. Recently, I appeared with
the Chicago MusicNOW Ensemble on the premiere recording
of Augusta Read Thomas'; "In My Sky at Twilight," dubbed
"an intense, pristine performance" by Wynne Delacoma of the Chicago
Sun-Times.
